Genadi A. Alibabjan

Genadi Artawasdi Alibabajan ( Armenian Գենադի Արտավազդի Ալիբաբյան ; born February 12, 1961 in Ghuse Tschartar , Martuni Province ) is a member of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic .

life and career

Genadi Alibabajan was born on February 12, 1961 in the village of Ghuse Tschartar in Martuni. He finished his school education in 1978 and then studied at the State Institute for Economics in Yerevan . He then served in the Soviet Army from 1985 to 1987 and in the same year took over the State Security Service in Martuni , which he led until 1991.

From 1992 to 1996 Alibabajan served in the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and participated in the defensive battles as a battalion adjutant . In the elections of the rural community Ghuze Tschartar he was elected chairman from 1997 to 2000. In the elections for the third National Assembly he was elected a member of parliament.

In 2007 he was elected as a member of parliament in the by-elections to the National Assembly after proportional representation by the party list " Free Home ". On May 23, 2010, he was elected as a member of the “Free Homeland” party list in the elections for the fifth National Assembly.

Genadi Alibabajan is married and has three children.
