Genadi Man

Genadi Man ( Russian Геннадий Ман ; born June 22, 1956 in Gorki , Soviet Union) is the founder and former CEO of Man Oil Group AG. He was also the founder, chairman of the board and chairman of the supervisory board of Telesens KSCL .

Childhood, adolescence and studies

One was born as the son of the jeweler Mosche Man and the industrial chemist Ida Man. After that he studied industrial design from 1979 to 1983 and graduated with a licentiate in machine development.

Business

In November 1978 he left the Soviet Union and came to Vienna . After studying art and design in Israel and his military service in the Zahal , Man worked as a freelance industrial designer for several companies from 1983 onwards. In 1994 he founded a German branch of MindCTI, which was later converted to Telesens KSCL. From 1995 to 2001 he was chairman of the board of the software manufacturer Telesens KSCL AG in Cologne and from 2001 to 2002 chairman of the supervisory board. After several venture capital investments in the real estate and aviation industry, he last founded Man Oil Group AG in 2008, a company specializing in technologies for the large-scale treatment of oil waste and oil sludge, where he was Chairman of the Board of Directors until June 1, 2016.
