Generation Swing is a song by Two of Us . It was released in January 1986.
Creation and publication
The song was written by Ulrich Herter together with Timothy Touchton and produced by Hubert Kemmler alias Hubert Kah und Herter. After some swing elements were used in Blue Night Shadow , these elements are now also used in the lyrics, which deal with a supposed generation of swing or a generation of swing . The saxophone used musically refers to it.
In January 1986 the single was released on Blow Up Records . The B-side contains the song Million Dollar Girl . Generation Swing also appeared as the first track on the album Twice as Nice .

As the duo's third and final single, the song reached a chart position in Germany, number 47. The band performed with him on March 4, 1986 at Formula One .
