Gennady Belkov
Gennadi Belkow ( Russian Геннадий Белков , English transcription Gennadiy Belkov; born June 24, 1956 in Samara ) is a former Uzbek high jumper who competed for the Soviet Union .
At the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978 he came in 14th, and at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1979 in Vienna, he won silver.
In 1980 he finished 18th at the Indoor European Championships in Sindelfingen and was tenth at the Olympic Games in Moscow .
At the European Indoor Championships in 1983 in Budapest, he came in 16th place.
In 1979 and 1980 he was the Soviet indoor champion.
