Geoffrey Cross, Baron Cross of Chelsea

(Arthur) Geoffrey Neale Cross, Baron Cross of Chelsea , PC ( December 1, 1904 - August 4, 1989 ) was a British judge.

Career

Geoffrey Cross invested in the Privy Council in 1969 . He was Lord Justice of Appeal from 1969 to 1971 . On March 12, 1971, he was appointed Lord of Appeal in Ordinary and also raised to Life Peer, with the title Baron Cross of Chelsea, of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea . He resigned as Lord of Appeal in 1975.

From 1959 to 1960 he was Chancellor of Durham.
