Geoffrey Tréand (born January 16, 1986 in Annemasse ) is a French football player who has so far only worked in Switzerland in his career.
Career
In 2005 Geoffrey Tréand moved from Étoile Carouge to Servette Geneva . He quickly became a regular at the Geneva team. That is why Neuchâtel Xamax became aware of him. At the end of the 2009/10 season, the Neuchâtel signed the French striker. He scored an important goal in the Cup semi-final against FC Zurich . Because of this goal, Xamax moved into the cup final. His stay at Xamax ended in January 2012, as his contract there lost its validity after Xamax's license had initially been revoked and the club filed for bankruptcy a little later. In January 2012, shortly after Neuchâtel Xamax went bankrupt , FC Sion announced the signing of Geoffrey Tréand. He signed a contract until June 2013. After just 6 months, Tréand switched back to the traditional club Servette FC Genève after many disputes between the players and the president Christian Constantin at FC Sion . After the relegation of Servette FC Tréand extended his contract with Geneva. After the 2013/14 season and the clearly missed direct promotion, Tréand moved to FC St. Gallen .
On May 26, 2016, FC Aarau announced the transfer of the French football player. He signed a two-year contract.
