The yearbook is published by the Georg Büchner Society and the Georg Büchner Research Center - Literature and History of the Vormärz - at the Institute for Modern German Literature at the Philipps University of Marburg . The literary scholar Burghard Dedner has been one of the editors since 1981 . A former longstanding co-editor was Thomas Michael Mayer , who works at the research center.
