Georg Blank (resistance fighter)
Georg Blank (born June 19, 1888 in Berlin ; † July 12, 1944 in Munich ) was a politician and resistance fighter against the Nazi regime .
Life
Blank was politically active in the SPD. During the Third Reich , he organized illegal anti-fascist actions in Berlin. Arrested by the Gestapo , he was transported to Bavaria, where he died in an SS prison in Munich in 1944 .
A street is named after him in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg .
