Georg Heydt

Georg Heydt (born March 20, 1619 in Königshofen i. Grabfeld ) was a German painter.

Heydt lived and worked in Dettelbach in the middle of the 17th century . There he was a respected citizen and a member of the council .

Three altarpieces of his works have been preserved, which were created in 1659 for the castle church in Amorbach .
