Georg Hoffmann (politician)

Georg Hoffmann (born March 9, 1858 in Glogau , † after 1899) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator.

Life

Georg Hoffmann receiving his diploma at the high school Glogau in July 1878, studied at the Universities of Wroclaw , Tübingen and Berlin law . He passed his examination for court trainee lawyer on December 29, 1882 at the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and he passed the examination for government assessor on March 24, 1888 with “sufficient”. He did his military service as a one-year volunteer with the Thuringian Uhlan Regiment No. 6 and was second lieutenant in the reserve of the Uhlan Regiment “Kaiser Alexander III. von Russland "(West Prussian) No. 1 . At the Higher Regional Court in Breslau he was appointed court trainee on January 16, 1883 and two years later with the government of Poznan as a government trainee lawyer. After working as an assessor for the Frankfurt / Oder government in October 1891 , on October 28, 1891 he was commissioned to manage the Beckum district administration. In September 1892, the Beckum district council unanimously asked for Hoffmann's appointment. The definitive appointment as district administrator of the Beckum district was on November 7, 1892. On the grounds that he had never applied for a district administrator client, he asked in October 1896 for a transfer to a district government . On May 1, 1899, Hoffmann was dismissed from civil service without prior disciplinary proceedings and without pension payments. He was a member of the Provincial Parliament .
