Georg Jakob Wagenseil
Georg Jakob Wagenseil (born December 22, 1773 in Kaufbeuren ; † January 31, 1835 there ) was one of the founders of the Kaufbeuren City Theater .
The son of Christoph Jakob Wagenseil and Maria Elisabeth Heinzelmann married Juliana Katherina Bogner from Kempten on March 13, 1797 and had the children Anna Barbara Wagenseil (* 1801) and Amalie Wagenseil (* 1806) with her.
The Protestant Wagenseil was active as a textile wholesaler in Kaufbeuren and was also a city judge, councilor, senator and major in the vigilante group in Kaufbeuren. Wagenseil was married to Hedwig Mathilde Schachenmayer for the second time.
