Georg Nikolaus von Appolt
Georg Nikolaus von Appolt (born September 10, 1671 in Ansbach ; † December 11, 1739 ) was a Brandenburg-Ansbach court official.
Life
Georg Nikolaus von Appolt came from an old Franconian noble family. From 1690 he studied law in Jena and Gießen , received his doctorate in Gießen in 1694 and, as a Privy Councilor, was the head of the office of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Margrave, fiefdom provost and district envoy.
Appolt was married to Anna Catharina von Marquart († 1731). The son Gotthard Friedrich (* 1703) became court and government councilor, the son Christoph Friedrich (* 1710) assessor of the Nuremberg Regional Court .
