Georg Pauly (politician)

Georg Pauly (born March 11, 1928 in Friedrichsfeld , Dinslaken district , † October 14, 2004 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Georg Pauly went through elementary and vocational school and did an apprenticeship as a locksmith with a subsequent skilled worker examination. He graduated from an evening technical school and the social academy. He also took refa courses. Pauly worked as a draftsman, master and department head.

politics

Georg Pauly was a member of the SPD from January 1946. In 1945 he became a member of IG Metall. He served as the district and local club chairman and vice sub-district chairman. Other of his functions were youth chairman, works council chairman and until 1956 labor judge.

From 1960 to 1964 he was a councilor and deputy parliamentary group leader. From 1956 to 1964 he was a member of the district council. Pauly was a member of the State Police Advisory Board and from 1960 a member of the mustering chamber.

Georg Pauly was from July 25, 1966 to May 27, 1975 directly elected member of the 6th and 7th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 079 Dinslaken.
