Georg Steinitz (born September 16, 1937 in Linz ) is an Austrian presenter , actor and humorist .

Life

Georg Steinitz grew up in Salzburg and graduated from the acting seminar at the Mozarteum in 1962 . Steinitz began as an assistant director in international film productions, a. a. The Sound of Music (German title: Meine Lieder - mein Träume ) and The great race around the world . Steinitz then worked as a cameraman and producer in the USA before returning to his hometown of Salzburg. Georg Steinitz's great-grandfather was the governor of the Crown Land of Salzburg from 1872 to 1880, Hugo Raimund von Lamberg .
