Georg Thomschitz

Georg Thomschitz (born March 28, 1916 in Lindabrunn , † February 15, 1985 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and elementary school director. From 1965 to 1979 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Thomschitz attended the teacher training college and completed his training with the Matura. He then did his military service between 1937 and 1945 in the Austrian Armed Forces and the German Wehrmacht , and after the end of the Second World War he was employed as a primary school teacher from 1945. He subsequently became a primary school director.

politics

Thomschitz was Vice Mayor of Zillingdorf from 1950 and was mayor there from 1953 to 1982. He was vice-president of the ASKÖ . Thomaschitz represented the SPÖ from September 30, 1965 to April 19, 1979 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
