Georg Tietz

Georg Tietz (born January 12, 1876 in Stadthagen ; † May 30, 1960 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Tietz completed an apprenticeship as a glassblower and then worked as a glassmaker in the Stadthagen glassworks. In 1919 he was elected as a member of the state parliament of the Free State of Schaumburg-Lippe , to which he belonged until 1922. During the second electoral term, he moved up to parliament in 1922 for the resigned MP Heinrich Lorenz and then remained a member of the state parliament until 1925.

Georg Tietz had been married since 1898. In 1942 he married a second time.
