Georg Wilhelm Zeitmann

Georg Wilhelm Zeitmann (born August 26, 1771 in Frankfurt am Main ; † April 5, 1836 there ) was a judge politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Georg Wilhelm Zeitmann studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. From 1794 to 1804 he was a Landamtsschreiber in Frankfurt and then deputy and from 1807 definitely Landamtmann . In 1810 he became district mayor in the Frankfurt department and in 1813 councilor in the departmental court. In 1816 he became a councilor at the Frankfurt City Court and in 1825 its director. From 1827 to 1828 he was an appellate judge and then until 1833 as director of the curatorial office. He then moved back to the Frankfurt Court of Appeal as a councilor.

From 1816 to 1822 he was a senator from 1823 to 1836 as an alderman in the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt . He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1820 to 1821, 1823 to 1824 and 1827 to 1828.
