Georg von Berninghausen

Georg von Berninghausen (* in the 15th century; † in the 16th century) was canon in Münster and Paderborn .

Life

Georg von Berninghausen came from the Westphalian noble family Berninghausen and was the son of Volpert von Berninghausen zu Baldeborn and his wife Lisa von Bruchhausen. On September 23, 1507 he was mentioned in a document as a canon in Münster and Paderborn. By death or abdication his is Dompräbende become vacant in Munster so that the Turnar Gisbert Ketteler this on October 7, 1525 the Canon John of Merveldt awarded.
