|
Ranoldsberg is a parish village , now part of Buchbach and a district in the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn .
history
The Church of the Assumption in Ranoldsberg is an old pilgrimage church . The first church building goes back to the end of the 13th century. The late Gothic successor building was consecrated in 1507 in order to provide more space for the growing stream of pilgrims. From 1723 the church was baroque inside and outside in line with contemporary tastes . The 18th century was the heyday of pilgrimage. In 1883 the neo-Gothic transformation (regotization) took place inside and outside .
Ranoldsberg was the seat of a chairman in the Duchy of Bavaria and became an independent municipality with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818. On January 1, 1972, the municipality of Ranoldsberg was incorporated into Buchbach as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
