George Barnes ( 1849 - January 25, 1934 ) was a British marksman .

George Barnes took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London , where he competed with the small bore rifle at 50 and 100 yards. With a total of 385 points, including 189 points over 50 yards and 196 points over 100 yards, he finished the competition behind Arthur Carnell and Harold Humby in third place, with which he won the bronze medal.
