George Coleman (athlete)
George Coleman ( George William Coleman; born November 21, 1916 in the Metropolitan Borough of Fulham , † January 2005 in Great Yarmouth ) was a British walker .
In 10,000 m walking he was fifth at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki and ninth at the 1954 European Athletics Championships in Bern.
In 1956 he was seventh in the 20 km walk at the Olympic Games in Melbourne with his personal best of 1:34:02 h.
