The men's 10,000 m at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 26, 1954 in the Neufeld Stadium in Bern . The competition was on the program of the European Championships for the last time and was replaced by the 20 km walk from 1958 .

In this competition there were two medals for the Soviet Union, silver and bronze. The European champion was the Czechoslovak Josef Doležal . He won ahead of Anatoly Egorov and Sergei Lobastov.
