The women's javelin at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 25, 1954 in the Neufeld stadium in Bern .

There were two medals for the USSR, silver and bronze. European champion was the 1952 Olympic champion Dana Zátopková from Czechoslovakia. She won ahead of Virve Roolaid. Bronze went to world record holder Nadezhda Konjajewa .
