The men's 50 km walk at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27, 1954 in the streets of Bern .

The European champion was the Soviet walker Vladimir Uchow . He won ahead of the Czechoslovak Josef Doležal , who had won the 10,000 m track going the day before . Bronze went to the Hungarian Antal Róka .
