The women's long jump at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 26, 1954 in the Neufeld Stadium in Bern .

The British Jean Desforges won . Vice European champion was high jump world record holder Alexandra Tschudina from the Soviet Union. Bronze went to Elżbieta Duńska from Poland - two years later as Elżbieta Krzesińska long jump Olympic champion.
