Shirley Cawley
Shirley Cawley (born April 26, 1932 in London ) is a former British long jumper .
In 1952 she became British champion. In the same year she won the bronze medal behind the New Zealander Yvette Williams (6.24 m) and the Soviet athlete Alexandra Tschudina (6.14 m) at the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 with her personal best of 5.92 m .
In 1954 she was seventh at the European Athletics Championships in Bern .
