George Dunlop Leslie (born July 2, 1835 in London , † February 21, 1921 in Lindfield ( Sussex )) was an English painter and illustrator .

life and work

Her first place

Leslie, son of Charles Robert Leslie , was initially a pupil of his father, then moved into the academy in 1854 and successfully exhibited his first painting, The Hope , in 1857 , which was followed by a large number of others who had a deep feeling in the connection between the landscape and the figures and show great grace, but are often soft and fuzzy in color.
