George Khoury
George Khoury , also Georges Houry , (born November 23, 1912 in Cairo , † April 21, 1983 in Los Angeles , California ) was an Egyptian - American actor .
Life
Born in Egypt, Khoury made an actor debut in the United States; his first film appearance took place in 1949 in the film Malaya . Khoury's most successful period as an actor was in the 1950s, with appearances in The Captain of Peshawar , Abbott and Costello as a mummy robber and in Sabu and the Magic Ring . One of Khoury's best-known roles was that of Verrico in The Beast from Outer Space . In addition, Khoury had several appearances on the television series Superman - Savior in Need .
With a guest appearance on the television series The Case of the Dangerous Robin in 1960 Khoury ended his work as an actor. His last film appearance was in When the Blood Boils in 1959 .

He died in California on April 21, 1983 at the age of 70.
