George Nikolaus Ritter

George Nikolaus Ritter (* 1748 in Heilbronn ; † 14 July 1809 in Amsterdam ) was a German miniature painter who worked in Amsterdam .

The landscape painter Gerrit Jan Michelis (1775–1857) was one of his students .

His daughter was the Amsterdam-born pianist Louise Charlotte de Neufville (1779–1859), who was married to the French painter Pierre de Neufville (1762–1844).
