George Otis
George Otis (born April 20, 1917 in Payne , Ohio , † July 22, 2007 in Murrieta , California ) was an American missionary , author and evangelist and the founder of the radio station Voice of Hope .
In 1979 he started the High Adventure Ministries missionary organization , which distributed news, Bible readings and interpretations via transmitters in southern Lebanon . The broadcasting station was destroyed several times by attacks. Otis later founded a television station called Middle East Television , which he then transferred to CBN . He was also the author of several books.
