George Ouzounian
George "Maddox" Ouzounian (* 1978 in Salt Lake City ) is an American comedian , writer and programmer of Armenian descent. He became known through his website “ The Best Page in the Universe ” with over 150 million visitors so far and his book “ The Alphabet of Manliness ” , published in 2006, “The A – Z of masculinity “), Which reached second place on the New York Times bestseller list.
Maddox majored in mathematics at the University of Utah at Salt Lake City. He borrowed the pseudonym Maddox from the anime " Maddox 01 ".

His humor is controversial, as it takes on drastic, almost insulting traits in terms of content and language. He has therefore already been reported twice for the content of his website - but both proceedings have been discontinued. His famous quotes include: "Regressive Party: Against abortion, for killing babies". ("Retrograde Party : Against Abortion, For Child Murder") This statement was intended as a satire on the Republican Party , which supports the death penalty and liberal gun laws, but is strictly against all forms of abortion. As a challenge to vegetarianism he found the formula: "For every animal you don't eat, I'll eat three" ("For every animal you don't eat, I'll eat three!")
His fans appreciate his consistency. For example, he refuses any attempts to place advertisements on his site and consistently points out bigoted behavior and grievances. He rarely changes his opinion, which he vehemently defends even under pressure and against resistance.
