Geotectonics
The Geotektonik is a geological science , which in the development of Tektonosphäre (d. E. The Earth's crust and upper mantle ) employed.
The main topic is large-scale structures, the movements of the geological structural elements and the resulting deformations. In German usage, tectonics is usually used simply ; the prefix geo emphasizes the global aspects.
