Tested protection and security force

The Geprüfte Schutz- und Sicherheitskraft is a training course in the security industry in Germany.

Admission requirements

  • a successfully passed final examination in a recognized training occupation and then at least two years of professional experience in the security industry or
  • at least five years of professional experience of which at least three years must have been completed in the security industry and
  • a minimum age of 24 years and
  • Participation in a first aid course that was completed no more than 24 months ago.

Training duration

There is no obligation to attend a preparatory course, but it is recommended due to the scope of the material. The IHK hour recommendation is 210 teaching hours. A course can be done either full-time or part-time.
