Gerónimo Beato , full name Gerónimo Beato Pessina , (born November 10, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.77 meter tall midfielder Beato is the son of the soccer coach Vito Beato . In March 2014, he moved from River Plate Montevideo to the Italian club Union Ripa La Fenadora . With the Italians he was injured for a long time. He was then active in Lugano, Switzerland, but was not given any working hours. In July 2015, he then joined the Uruguayan first division promoted Villa Teresa, who was trained by his father . In the 2015/16 season he was used by the Montevideans in eleven Primera División games. He didn't score a goal. However, his team immediately relegated to second class. In the 2016 season he played three games (no goal) in the Segunda División .
