Gerald Ebinger

Gerald Ebinger (born November 30, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Since November 1999 he has been a member of the Vienna state parliament and local council .

education and profession

Gerald Ebinger graduated from high school in 1977 and began studying law , art history and ethnology in 1978 . In 1987 he completed the judicial year and joined the financial service in 1988. In 1991 he was accepted into the integration and customs section of the Federal Ministry of Finance (customs tariff department) and in 1993 was assigned to the European Commission for three months . Since 2002 he has been head of the customs laboratory and the customs tariff department.

Political activity

Gerald Ebinger joined the FPÖ in 1983 and was district councilor in Margareten from 1990 to 1999 . He was a member of the Housing Commission from 1991 to 1996 and has held seminars and lectures on EU issues at the Freedom Academy since 1995. Since November 1999 he has represented the FPÖ as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and is a member of the City Council of Vienna.

Ebinger is a member of the striking academic fraternity Aldania.

Private

Gerald Ebinger is divorced and has a daughter.
