The Gerard Dou Synagogue in Amsterdam , the capital of the Kingdom of the Netherlands , was built in 1892. The synagogue of the Orthodox community is located at Gerard Doustraat No. 238.

The neo-Renaissance synagogue was built according to plans by the architect Emanuel Marcus Rood (1851–1929). It offers space for 250 men and 70 women. The building was extensively renovated in the 1990s.
