Gerardo Daniel Ruiz Barragán (born September 5, 1985 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican football player on the position of goalkeeper .
career
Ruiz received his first professional contract with Club Atlante , with which he is also currently under contract. In the meantime he was loaned to the Atlante farm team Potros Neza , for which he completed four appearances in the second division in the 2009/10 season . He was then loaned to the Jaguares de Chiapas , for which he played three appearances in the top Mexican division in the 2011 Clausura .
Since the 2014/15 season he has been the goalkeeper of his long-time club Atlante, with whom he reached the final games in Apertura 2015 , which were lost to FC Juárez .
