Gerd Lochmann

Gerd Erhard Arthur Lochmann (born April 3, 1948 ) is a former German shot putter who started for the GDR .

Life

Lochmann learned the profession of concrete worker. He was a member of the German People's Police and SC Dynamo Berlin .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships he won silver in 1973 in Rotterdam and 1976 in Munich .

In 1973 he was GDR indoor champion, in 1976 GDR indoor runner-up. In 1975 he was third in the GDR championship outdoors.
