Gerd Ripkens

Gerd Ripkens (born January 24, 1929 in Camp ; † May 31, 1988 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Gerd Ripkens attended elementary school and secondary school, which he finished in 1945 with the secondary school leaving certificate. This was followed by training as a businessman; In 1948 he passed the sales assistant examination. He completed further training in 1950 with the chemical laboratory assistant examination. He attended the technical college for chemical engineers and became a chemical engineer in 1954. He worked as a chemical technician in the chemical industry until 1968 and as an engineer in the technical service until 1978. Until 1984 he was division sales manager in the chemical industry.

politics

Gerd Ripkens had been a member of the CDU since 1949. He was a member of the district party executive. In 1956 he became a member of the Kamp-Lintfort City Council. From 1960 he worked as parliamentary group leader of the CDU and member of the Moers / Wesel district assembly. From 1965 to 1975 he acted as parliamentary group leader of the CDU and member of the association assembly of the SVR. Ripkens was a member of the Kolping Family .

Gerd Ripkens was a member of the 10th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 30, 1985 to May 31, 1988, which he entered via the state list.
