Gerd Wiendieck

Gerd Wiendieck (* 1942 ) is a German psychologist .

Life

From 1962 to 1966 he studied economics and social sciences in Nuremberg and Erlangen . After receiving his doctorate from the University of Cologne in 1972 and his habilitation in economic and social psychology from the University of Wuppertal in 1977, he was visiting professor at the universities of Johannesburg and Cape Town (1972–1976). He was appointed professor at the University of Wuppertal in 1977, at the University of Cologne in 1982 and at the FernUniversität Hagen in 1991.

His main research areas are personnel and organizational development, group work and leadership, and work motivation and satisfaction.
