Gerd Wollschon

Gerd Wollschon (born February 11, 1944 in Zobten ; † September 9, 2012 ) was a German author , musician and cabaret artist .

Life

Wollschon was a lyricist for the rock and cabaret group Floh de Cologne until 1978 (also bass, percussion, vocals) and then author of his “Solo cabaret for public enemies” (1979). The FAZ saw Wollon develop a “multicolored picture” here, a “splendid backdrop of social conditions; his actors - police officers, nationalists, feminists and socialists "- he let" dance ruthlessly to his satirical whistle ". The Hessischer Rundfunk emphasized the "formal ingenuity" of the program. The satirist also co-wrote the TV series Der goldene Sonntag for Hanns Dieter Hüsch .

With his wife Saskia, Wollschon was also the editor of the Sudel books with texts by satirical songwriters such as Franz-Josef Degenhardt , Franz Hohler , Hanns Dieter Hüsch, Diether Dehm and Hannes Wader in the 1970s . As a book author he was responsible for the Sudel-Lexika (1977 and 1983) and for his own satirical volumes. Wollschon emigrated to the Caribbean. For the last few years he has lived in Altea on the Costa Blanca .

Gerd Wollschon died on September 9, 2012 after a long and serious illness.
