Gerda-Maria Haas

Gerda-Maria Haas (born October 10, 1942 in Bamberg ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Haas did her A-levels at the humanistic grammar school and studied in Nuremberg . For 18 years she worked as a secondary school teacher with additional qualifications in Protestant religion, English and school psychology.

In 1962 Haas became a member of the SPD. She was deputy SPD state chairwoman and deputy parliamentary group leader of the SPD state parliamentary group. She was a member of the state parliament from 1982 to 1998. The first time she was elected directly in the Nuremberg-South constituency, then always via the list in the Middle Franconia constituency . She was also a member of the Nuremberg City Council from 1978 to 1982.
