Gerda Krause

Gerda Krause (born July 13, 1947 in Berlin-Pankow ) is a German politician ( PDS ). From 1994 to 2002 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Education and life

Gerda Krause graduated from high school in 1966 and acquired a skilled worker certificate as a top lathe operator in 1966. After graduating as a graduate teacher, she worked as a teacher from 1970 to 1978, from 1979 to 1981 deputy director for extra-curricular activities and from 1980 to 1982 as a district school inspector, from 1982 to 1983 was deputy director for Extra-curricular activity and director from 1983 to December 1990, she had various functions in the school party organization. After the reunification she remained in the school service and was a teacher from 1990 to 1994.

Gerda Krause is non-denominational, married and has two daughters.

politics

Gerda Krause was a member of the SED and, after the renaming in 1990, of the PDS: From 1990 to 1992 she was a member of the PDS regional board, 1992 to 1994 a member of the PDS regional board. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 1994 and 1998, she was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the state parliament she was deputy chairwoman of the committee for labor, health and social affairs.
