Gerfried Appelt
Gerfried Appelt (born March 9, 1932 in Reichenberg ) is a German geodesist , administrative officer and university professor.
Life
Appelt received his doctorate in 1962 from the Faculty of Building Sciences at the Technical University of Munich . From 1970 to 1977 he was a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich, where he was appointed honorary professor in 1977. From 1985 to 1995 he was President of the Bavarian Land Survey Office.
Awards
- 1994: Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany
- 2012: Soldner's Medal for special services to surveying
