Gerhard C. Starck Foundation
The Gerhard C. Starck Foundation is a foundation for the promotion of professional training and further education of talented young Jewish people who are connected to the German language and cultural area. The sponsorship group includes schoolchildren , students , apprentices , artists , doctoral candidates and post- doctoral candidates . It is based in Düsseldorf .

On February 22, 2005, District President Jürgen Büssow presented the foundation's chairman, Paul Spiegel , with the certificate of recognition.
The namesake of the foundation, Gerhard C. Starck (born April 4, 1929 in Berlin; † January 9, 2000 in Düsseldorf), was the husband of the deceased founder and was persecuted during the Nazi era because of his Jewish descent . The founder and namesake were interested in talent and talent .
The idea of the foundation was to combine these elements. The aim of the funding is to encourage young Jewish people who are interested in Germany to come here and stay.
The founder was aware that a Jewish culture from the Weimar period could not be revived, but she was convinced that the contribution of gifted Jewish people to the community is important.
