Gerhard Geier
Gerhard Geier (* 1932 in Berlin ; † January 21, 2008 ibid) was a German cabaret artist and author.
From 1956 Geier worked for the German broadcaster . In 1962 he was a co-founder, author and actor of the Berlin cabaret Lachbrett . As an author and presenter, he was active for the program Joke Birds on Radio DDR , and later for the programs Tusch und Fun am Fun with the voice of the GDR .
From 1973 he wrote for the Berlin cabaret Die Distel , from 1975 for the Geraer Fettnäppchen , from 1981 for the Magdeburg troupe Die Kugelblitze , from 1982 for the Dresdner Herkuleskeule and from 1984 for the Potsdamer Theater am Obelisk . Together with Inge Ristock , Kurt Bartsch and Horst Rascher he worked as the Ribagera team of authors . After Bartsch had moved to the Federal Republic of Germany, they called themselves Rigera .
