Gerhard Jacobs

Gerhard Jacobs (born November 7, 1938 in Nieukerk ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an agricultural training and worked in agriculture and was an independent farmer. At the Klausenhof Academy he trained as a speaker. Since 1962 Jacobs was the education officer of the Catholic rural youth and rural people movement in the diocese of Münster.

Jacobs had been a member of the CDU since 1962. He was active in numerous party bodies.

MP

From May 30, 1985 to May 30, 1990 and from October 29, 1994 to May 31, 1995 Jacobs was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected via the state list of his party and moved up in the eleventh electoral term on the reserve list for Heinrich Dreyer .

He was a member of the district council of the Kleve district from 1994 to 2004. From 1994 to 1999 he was district administrator , from 1999 to 2004 deputy district administrator.
