Heinrich Dreyer (politician)

Heinrich Dreyer (born July 8, 1935 in Mennighüffen , Herford district , † October 24, 1994 in Löhne ) was a German Federal Railroad official and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1952, Dreyer completed an apprenticeship for young workers at the Deutsche Bundesbahn and then from 1953 to 1955 an apprenticeship for the middle service (Bundesbahn assistant candidate). He worked in the traffic and operations service of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, completed an apprenticeship for the senior service from 1964 to 1965 and then worked in operations monitoring. From 1967 to 1969 he worked in construction management and from 1970 he worked as a sales and management trainer at the Deutsche Bundesbahn.

Political party

Dreyer joined the CDU in 1966, became a member of the CDU district executive in Herford in 1967 and was a member of the CDU state executive in Westphalia-Lippe from 1973 to 1986, and from 1986 on the party's state executive in North Rhine-Westphalia .

From 1969 he belonged to the council of the city of Löhne and was chairman of the CDU council group there from 1969 to 1984. In 1974 he became district chairman of the CDU in East Westphalia-Lippe , and was deputy state chairman of the CDU from 1977 to 1981 and 1986 to 1989.

MP

He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 28, 1975 until his death on October 24, 1994. His successor was Gerhard Jacobs .
