Gerhard Lewe, the younger
Gerhard Lewe (* 14th century ; † around 1426 in Aachen ) was a lay judge and mayor of the imperial city of Aachen .
Live and act
The son of Gerhard Lewe, the elder, and Jutty Colyn was first mentioned in 1406 as a member of the aldermen's college. In 1413 and 1425 he was finally elected mayor of the Free Imperial City of Aachen.
Like his father, he barely appeared politically, but made a good reputation for himself as a sponsor of the monastery of regulators in Aachen.
Gerhard Lewe was married to Druygen Walraven from a Cologne family.
