The court registry , also known as the court secretariat or court clerk , is the department of a court responsible for issuing documents and carrying out correspondence . In the law firm working clerk , secretaries, archivists, librarians and auditors (for example, in Switzerland ). The employees ensure the deadline control of the ongoing proceedings and take care of all other administrative tasks of the court. The court office is run by the head of the clerkship. Clerk as legal secretaries, actuaries or legal notaries act in virtually all legal systems as Notaries , which means that they are responsible for the certification of judgments , court documents, transcripts, records and logs in charge and give them public faith . In the German court constitutional law the court registry is a branch called and is called Urkundsbeamtinnen and officials busy.
